# Get Historic Prices

Acckenn Calc allows you to get the latest and historic prices (1m closing price) of cryptoassets. Its use is not strictly required as part of the process of completing your transactions but provides a useful insight into the prices that Acckenn Calc will assign when it comes to value your cryptoassets in your currency.
